Residents of Edwards, Gallatin, Hamilton, Saline, Wabash, Wayne and White counties
The Emergency Food and Shelter Homeless Program assists the homeless with food and emergency shelter, case management, financial counseling and more. There are no income guidelines to qualify but funding is limited.

Who is eligible to get help?
Residents of Edwards, Gallatin, Hamilton, Saline, Wabash, Wayne and White counties
- Must provide proof of an unexpected crisis that put you behind on your bills
- Must have sufficient income that if you get caught up you would be able to pay your regular monthly bills in the future
- There are income guidelines to qualify, the household must show that if the assistance is provided, they have sufficient income to pay their bills in the future. Households may only receive help in this program once every two years.
